Late August we drove through South Williamsport, PA on the way back to Hershey from Rochester. And we totally lucked out.
- South Williamsport is home to the Little League World Series. (I didn't know that)
- The Little League World Series was happening then. (We were not aware until we spotted packed parking lots and excessive porta-potties.)
- The games are free. (Hello, that even beats spaving.)
- We watched one game - Hawaii vs. Georgia. (Later found out Hawaii won the American title)

you've got to love baseball - especially a free game and little league!! cute pictures Linsy.
Good timing with the world series games. I think Williamsport is the cutest town and how can those little tikes be so good? I am glad that you got to go with your boys and now we may have to try sliding down your fabulous backyard hill with cardboard. Genius!
I am jealous! We have always wanted to go to one of those games--I didn't know they were free. Next year...
That's so fun! My hometown's team went a few years ago and should've won it all, but they came in second. After the Series, it came to light that the other team's star pitcher had a fake birth certificate and was several years older than his coach claimed! Quite a scandal, but it was still exciting to come in second. :0)
